Happy 2nd Anniversary!
You heard that right! It is Sis Preach It 2nd year!
I have to be honest and share some truths with you. If you know, back in September, I started my own small business. It has been one wild ride! My days now are consumed with creative planning, marketing, and a whole lot more. At the end of the day, my brain is drained. I can not help but say, my blog has been left out the last few months.
Blogging to me is a hobby that I very much love. Creating fills my spirit.
When I created Sis Preach It, my goal was to only write devotionals and encouraging posts.
I wish I could say that most days I am encouraged to write. However, that is not the case. At times I even thought about giving up. But, my heart will not let me. Sis Preach It is a part of me.
To me, writing allows me to share and express who I am. When I was struggling with finding my purpose, Jesus gave me constant reminders (and yes, at times I ignored them) that writing is a part of who I am.
I love to write devotionals and express the love I have for Jesus in hopes it encourages someone else. I have wrestled with myself that I should be doing more when it comes to writing but Jesus blessed me with the love of creativity.
I have decided to make Sis Preach It a Christian/Lifestyle blog!
Sis Preach It as I mentioned, is a hobby. When I look back at the last few months, I made it feel like it was the end of the world if I could not come up with a blog.
I want to share more of who I am. Things that make Diana, Diana. This is my safe place. A place I can go to and just be myself. Of course, I will still post devotionals. Just not every week!
Some days, I just want to write about new books I find. Maybe business tips, a recipe that I made, or a life hack. I do not want to limit my blog to just writing devotionals. When I write devotionals, I want to feel like my hands are on fire from typing up what Jesus placed in my heart for me to share. Not rush it.
I am excited to share more about what makes me, me.
