DAY 2 (DEVOTIONAL PLAN)
Power in Redemption

Genesis 3:6-7
6The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. 7At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.
Now, I do not believe Adam and Eve had intentions to create sin. Just like you did not intend to create sins of your own. Temptation is the enemy's strongest warrior. The enemy badly wants us to believe that our sin is okay until we feel condemned afterward. The Holy Spirit brings redemption to our sins.
God individually created us with the knowledge that we will be born with sin. Even after Adam and Eve sinned, God showed grace.
Genesis 3:21
21And the Lord God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife.
God made them clothes to wear to cover their nakedness. That is the power of God’s love. God gives us the comfort we need to feel his love once we are feeling convicted. He shows mercy on us. Instead of hiding from your sins, confront them to God. Seek forgiveness and understand that guilt and shame come from the enemy.
Question: What are you hiding from?
