Book of Psalms (chapters 11-15)
Hey friends,
I am pumped for this book study. Psalms is one of my favorite books in the bible. My life verse comes from Psalms (46:5). Each week, I will be posting 5 chapters at a time.
Disclaimer: My Bible is NLT. I will be referencing from NTL for the most part but for better understanding I may switch to a different translation. I will be sharing how I view the word and what God is speaking to me as I read.
Let’s jump into the word!

Chapters 11-15:
A couple things stood out to me:
x Seeking God
x He restores
x God watches over all His people
All three of those points all correlate to one meaning, salvation. Let God into your life. There is no better love than the love of Christ. I remember the day I let God into my life. I spoke about this in a previous blog, however, for my new readers, I found myself in a situation I had no place being in and I surrendered my life to Him. I knew I could not do it alone and I needed God's love at that moment. Seeking God allows you to feel free. Just allow the Holy Spirit to consume you. Now, I live a life of constantly seeking God in anything I do. I chose to not be afraid and not let fear rise in me. I am not perfect, I still have my moments but I believe in the power of salvation. The day you admit to God that you have been doing life his way will be the day heaven rejoices your name. Admit your wrongs and pray over moving forward. Trust me, the guilt of past sins does not disappear overnight. I dealt with years of me feeling ashamed and angry towards myself. It does get easier as my relationship with Christ grew. The days of feeling that way do get better and soon you will be able to grow from it. The pain will always still be there but reconcile gives you the ability to keep your head high towards Christ. Let the light into your life.
Prayer of Salvation:
Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen.
